First Swedish astronaut. Particle physicist who performed five spacewalks — the first person outside the US/Russian programs to do more than three EVAs.
Before NASAParticle physicist who worked at CERN on proton-antiproton collision experiments and on CP-violation in kaons before teaching mathematics at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
